T. Buck's Coming to Town....

He's a stud, right? Robert and I have been having loads of fun with scanning old family pics the last couple of days. Our motivation? Travis and his fiance (who we've yet to meet) are coming to town this Sunday!! We're having a baby shower for Kaci and Travis and the soon to be Landon Joseph Shepherd. We thought it'd be fun to drag out some embarrassing/funny kiddie pics of Trav so Kaci can get a glimpse of what her future with a little boy might look like. Robert put together a kick-arse video slide show that we'll be showing at the shower. I'm uploading just a few of the pics we used. All the Weaverville ladies might get a kick out of these. I mean, look at those legs!

We had a lovely visit with Robert's Dad Ronnie and big bro Travis a couple of weeks ago. Here are the fellas as they were leaving to take off to play golf. Good times. The boys took lots of naps, played lots of golf, ate silos (ronnie-ism for tall cylindrical container) of banana pudding. Robert's Dad likes banana pudding as much as I do and that really made for a dangerous situation. @ 510 Rosedown. Ok I just had a pic of all 3 guys and I clicked and dragged it away. It's very helpful that bloggerman saves what you do immediately (unless of course you goof and don't want it saved).

This past weekend i went
to Chapel Thrill for Renu's
wedding (see shanna's blog

to take of the happy couple).

Mom and G-unit in a really cute yellow sundress that somebody who loves her very much (and has really good taste) must have gotten for her. And who doesn't love pig tails?

oh, maybe that's the person with really good taste that got gracie the yellow sundress.

I can only imagine Kelli is about to pass out from the hair spray fumes standing next to me and Shan.

Well happy birthday to my sweet little niece gracie. Also, congratulations to Shanna and Adam for keeping her alive and well all this time. I'm proud of you two. Please refer to her mother's blog for Gracie's life in pictures up to this point. I'm not that good. Then again, I'm just the aunt so there's less pressure. I mean, I don't think Uncle Ronny Mac is blogging about her birthday so I figure I'm doing alright.

So here I go again with nothing much to blog about. Let's see... It's Wednesday night and I'm waiting for Lost to come on. Yes, I still watch it. I want to quit. It's like a bad relationship you just can't get out of. It's a drug (heroin like) and I can't stop. It's unhealthy and I need help. Will there never be an end to my misery?

Work is very busy but that's okay I suppose. You ever heard of UPC codes? Did you know that someone has to enter that 12 digit number for every bar code in every product in every store? Did you ever think that someone might have to do that manually? Me neither. Until today. A little glimpse into my current nightmare.

This is more fun. Adam is coming to Atlanta for more "business" next Monday. He drives around and looks for damns. Robert is very fond of his new t-shirt from Adam's work. It reads "Make Wetlands, Not War". Really nice to wear out to bars- gets people talking.

And then on Friday of next week Travis (aka Uncle Buck to jada and birdie) and Ronnie (Sheppie's Dad) are coming to visit. If any of you are ever given the chance, hang out with 3 Shepherd men at once. You won't be able to hear yourself think. It's all love fellas. But it is loud.
